Today, you were given questions to answer on Act II.. In addition, I handed out the major assignment for this unit, which I am posting below. It is due September 29. In order to be sure you are ready for your first essay, I am moving the end date for this unit to September 29 (essay) and September 30 (M.C.). Don't worry about falling behind. The next unit is on essays, so it all fits together well.

A Doll’s House
INSTRUCTIONS: Using an 11X17 sheet of paper, create a graphic organizer that contains the following
1. Expository Information (characters, what you know about them – sketch; location, including year, season and time of day; relationships between characters; what the characters have done up to this point to start the action; conflicts)
2. What the main plot is as well as any sub-plots, character expansion as plot moves on, (show the good and bad of characters – their motivations)
3. Outcome of plot and any sub-plots; themes; opinion on outcome(s), how this might affect the characters in the future.
4. Also, include any symbols (as well as what they symbolize) and any other characterization traits (based on the eight elements sheet you have) that you can find.
In addition to this, you want to be sure that it is organized in an effective manner (line links, section links, use of colours to signify connections, pictures, etc)
